IAM@CIRMMT#22 - IAM's Annual Demo Derby

Talk outline/Summary

The Interactive Audio Montreal Demo Derby is an event we do each year to showcase some local talent in our industry and highlight their work in a more ludic format. The concept is simple, each speaker or team of speakers has 20min to play their game live in front the an audience and talk about the audio and how they created it, all this while playing. Teams are allowed to ask someone from the audience to come and play the game for them or with them.

- Manu Boucher, Francis Brus - Outlast Trials (Red Barrels)

- Ulric Corbeil Trudel + Guest(s) - Battle Shapers (Pixel Audio, Metric Empire)

- François-Xavier (FX) Dupas - Convergence: A League of Legends Story (Vibe Avenue, Double Stallion)

Event details

• Filming : Please note that this event IS NOT filmed as usual, so if you can't attend you will miss this content.
• Tickets : Please grab your ticket to attend this event, this helps us tremendously and is required due to the liquor license on site. While there is some flexibility (see our F.A.Q.) here and we won't check unless we have to, we expect all attendees to have a ticket.
• Alcohol : We have an alcohol permit for this event. The format is B.Y.O.B. so there will not be anything available on site if you don't bring it yourself and we would like to prioritize plastic and metal containers, please avoid glass :)
• After hours @BENELUX : As usual those who groove to "No sleep t'ill brooklyn" can head on over to Benelux after the main event for our usual after hours shindig which ends when it ends. All are welcome !
